Welcome to the 2008-09 school year! The teachers and staff at our campuses are anxious to welcome back all students and make our Class of 2021 feel welcome in their new kindergarten classrooms. Once again our students and staff will return to a TEA “Recognized” school district and I would like to personally thank our teachers and staff for their dedication and ongoing pursuit of excellence.
Our goal this year is to help connect our students to their world. We will expose our students to the world of work through field trips and individual visits, offer a variety of dual credit college classes on and off campus, create a media-rich learning environment, and provide the individual attention to each student necessary for a meaningful educational experience. We will challenge all students including the class of 2009 down to the class of 2021 to set high goals for themselves, and the staff of Olney ISD will work tirelessly to help each student reach his or her goal.
Thank you to our parents and our community for thoroughly supporting our district and schools. We look forward to another tremendous school year.
