Welcome to Olney Elementary
Olney Elementary is a Title 1 school serving Olney ISD students in grades Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The enrollment is approximately four hundred students. Construction on the current campus was completed in time for the 2003-2004 school year. We offer a full computer lab, Dyslexia classes, English as a Second Language, and provide inclusion instruction for most of our special education students in the classroom with support from paraprofessionals.
The student to teacher ratio at Olney Elementary is about fourteen to one. We currently have one PPCD class, three Pre-Kindergarten classes, and four classes per grade from first to fifth grade. Olney Elementary School provides a wonderful atmosphere for learning.
