Recommended Reading: By Students For Students

The Voice of the Night by Dean Koontz - This mystery kept me on my toes. The ending is twisted, but the conclusion is satisfying.  The journey that the main character takes is very challenging.  I'd recommend this book for older readers since some of the dialogue may not be appropriate for younger kids. Kristyn

Gone by Michael Grant - If you want an awesome ride, then the book Gone is your car.  Gone is a fantasy/love story.  Sam is torn between his family and hiding his secret from the public.  Further on in the story, his secret is eventually advertised to the public by his twin brother Dean whom he has never met in his life.  But the book has so much content satisfaction that you can't go against the intense desires to keep reading! Olivia

Shabanu:Daughter of the Wind by Suzanne Fisher Staples is a book I'd recommend because the lesson it teaches is a good one.  We take too many of our freedoms for granted in America. Angela

The Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks is a good book because the characters literally come alive.   Farren

I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder is a great book because it teaches you that some bonds just can't be broken. Cayleigh

Wild Roses by Deb Caletti is a great love story with a very different twist. Kelzye

The Other Boy by Hailey Abbott is a great love story.  It's kind of book over stereotyping. Brittanie

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson - The  Maximum Ride series are really good books to read.  Anybody can fall under the Maximum Ride spell. Bethany

The Left Behind series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins is a fun and suspenseful series of books that will have you reading each book with your full attention. Ky
